Job Changer

Concept of mobile app with job postings allowing potential candidates to quickly find the crucial information about the job

Problems to solve

On the market, there are a lot of portals, websites or mobile apps with job postings that are unstructured and too wordy. The potential user needs to read the whole offer carefully to get the most important information but usually doesn’t have time for it because he is in a rush. Additionally, there is often no possibility to save the ad. The designed app should also unify the way of providing information about posts to make them more scannable and allow the users saving the offer for later

Who are the potential users?

The designed app is directed to people at almost every age, but mostly to young adults who are looking for a new job and want quickly scan the offers

Design process

1. Research & User Interviews

I started with research and analysis of the websites, portals and mobile apps with job postings. Next, I conducted a few interviews with people who are currently looking for a new job. It allowed me to distinguish the main functions and features of the app which I present below

2. User flows and lo-fi wireframes

The next step was to plan the structure of the application. On the basis of them I created low fidelity paper wireframes

User flow

LoW Fidelity Wireframes

3. Hi-FI Wireframes

Next, based on previous work I prepared high fidelity wireframes

4. Final Product

Finally, I added some graphic touch to the project. My assumption was to keep everything simple and not distract the users
